COVID-19 & Telehealth
Most recent update: June 29th, 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has created a tremendous amount of emotional pain for people around the world. Reasonable ways to manage stress and worry are now no longer available and life has become lived through windows and digital screens. This has caused considerable damage to people’s mental health, and my practice has made it a point to address these concerns head-on.
Due to the unprecedented circumstances, I have adapted my practice to be capable of 100% virtual therapy. I offer sessions through telehealth platforms that allow for simple and secure video conferencing. Depending on your circumstances, this can be a great way to access therapy without exposing yourself to the risks posed by COVID.
As of June 23rd, 2020 I have also begun in-person visits for those who are interested. I have found in-person therapy to be more effective, even with reasonable COVID precautions in place.
